​Testing Information

​

• If you are applying as a rising JK/TK, Kindergarten, or 1st Grade student, the Wechsler Preschool & Primary Scale of Intelligence—Fourth Edition (WPPSI-IV) is individually administered by Dr. Baron.​  Appointments generally last 45 to 60 minutes.​​  Please ensure that your child is at least 4-years-old by his/her scheduled testing date.​

• If you are applying as a rising 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade student, the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children—Fifth Edition (WISC-V) is individually administered by Dr. Baron.​  Appointments generally last 60 to 90 minutes.

How to Book Your Appointment

 

• In an effort to make the scheduling process easier, please click Book Your Appointment Now to self-schedule through the online portal. You will be prompted to complete several forms.  A confirmation email will be sent to you from my office with your child’s date/time along with additional information about the testing process.  If you do not receive your confirmation email shortly after booking, please check your spam folder.  As a reminder, your payment must be received within 24 hours of scheduling to finalize your slot.

Fees and Payment 

​

• The fee for this IQ testing is $300, which includes test administration and electronic delivery of results to you and the schools to which your child is applying.​​​

​

• Payments via credit card or Zelle are required within 24 hours of scheduling.

​

• If you prefer to pay by check, please inform the psychologist; a one-week grace period from the time of booking your appointment is available for check payments.

​Rescheduling & Cancellation Policies

​

•  Emergencies and Illnesses: If a family emergency or illness arises, please contact our office as soon as possible.  We are happy to reschedule your appointment under these circumstances, at no additional cost.

​

• Rescheduling with Notice: If you need to change your appointment for any other reason, please notify our office at least 72 hours in advance.  We will gladly reschedule your appointment at no additional cost. 

  • For Monday appointments, notice must be given by the preceding Wednesday.​

​

• Cancellations and Refunds: Once payment is made, a non-refundable $100 fee applies to all cancellations.​

  • Per CAIS guidelines, cancellations within 72 hours of your appointment are not eligible for a refund.  If an unforeseen circumstance arises within 72 hours of your appointment, please contact my office immediately to discuss rescheduling options.​ ​

​CAIS Testing Dates

​

• ​TK/JK/K CAIS Testing Complete by February 1, 2026

​

• Grades 1 - 4 CAIS Testing Complete by February 21, 2026

​

Application Dates

​

• TK/JK/K Application Deadline for CAIS Schools is December 31, 2025

​

• Grades 1 - 4 Application Deadline for CAIS Schools id January 15, 2026

​

*Please note that the CAIS Testing date can occur after the application deadline (see CAIS testing dates above).

Additional Information​

​

• Most children enjoy the 1:1 evaluation experience.  Along with using kid friendly materials which naturally pique children’s curiosity, I am intentional about creating a nurturing and comfortable space for your child.  Please refer to the CAIS brochure to read about tips to ensure your child has a positive testing experience.

​

• An optional parent-only feedback session (50 minutes) can be scheduled for a $225 consultation fee if you would like further insight into your child's performance and the educational implications.
