Early Kindergarten Readiness Evaluations are helpful for parents trying to decide whether or not to send their child on to kindergarten or complete a transitional kindergarten year. Testing includes measures of aptitude, visual-motor skills, early reading, and math readiness skills.

CMS stipulates that children who will reach their fourth birthday by April 16 may enter kindergarten if they demonstrate an extraordinary level of academic ability and maturity.
